I wanted to share this homemade acne face mask remedy for reducing acne breakouts and scars. This recipe is easy to follow. It has a variety of ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. This pimple mask can also help nourish your skin by using natural ingredients, rather than toxic chemicals found in store bought products

In many of my acne face masks I use honey. I'll probably write about the other ones I use, but this one is easy to use and follow. I had acne for years until I started doing this kind of research. I encourage my teen-age kids to use it. Although they sometimes resist, and what kid doesn't, they still enjoy the benefits.
All of the allergy face masks tend to hydrate my skin and keeps it soft, unclogs my pores, and helps to promote skin cell renewal.
It also is good because of antiseptic and antibacterial. We have loads of bacteria on our faces, and this one does the trick. Preventing acne and using a holistic or homeopathic acne treatment is the best way to go.
The mask also helps to reduce inflammation and redness caused by acne and pimples. I highly recommend using a good source of honey, and the best is raw. The processed stuff you get in the grocery store has lost much of its original properties. Processed honey also tends to irritate my skin. When a recipe calls for milk, never use skim milk, and try to stay away from processed and pasteurized milk. Raw milk is best because the good bacteria and enzymes are still intact. They haven't been boiled away and is the way nature intended it to be.
Some other ingredients to consider:
Cinnamon - Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties
Green Tea - Has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits that reduce free radicals and helps maintain younger-looking skin.
Turmeric - Helps with many skin problems, and has is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It can also help reduce the effects of blemishes and acne scars.
There are also vitamins for acne you can look into.
Ingredients for acne removal treatment:
You will want to remove any makeup from your face, including eye liner, foundation, and lipstick. Those products can also clog up your pores so it's best to reduce or eliminate them altogether.
Mix well with a fork. If you want a thicker mixture you can add a bit more sugar. The sugar is a natural exfoliate. It helps to unclog your skin pores.
Take 1/3 of the mixture and apply it to your face, starting at your forehead, working down, and apply a thin layer. You can also use a round cotton pad if you don't want to get your fingers too sticky. Apply the 2nd layer, then the third, massaging in each layer into the skin.
Allow to sit on your face for 10 minutes. This helps to remove cells. The acne mask might feel a bit scratchy due to the sugar, but the time spent is worth it to have better and healthier looking skin.
After 10 minutes, you can rinse with clean water.
